GRANNY’S BUTTER-CAKE WITH-BUTTERCREAM



The perfect classic butter cake recipe with buttercream frosting…a moist and fluffy cake perfect for birthdays, school lunch boxes, fundraisers or morning tea.
* Ingredients :
° 3 cups all-purpose flour
° 1 teaspoon baking powder
° 1 teaspoon salt
° 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
° 1 cup butter
° 2 cups of sugar
° 4 eggs
° 1 cup butter or cream
° 2 teaspoons vanilla
°  Butter frosting cream
Preheat oven 350 degres F .  Grease & flour 9  13 bread or  tray baking.
Mix the flour with the baking powder, baking soda and salt and set aside. Mix with butter and sugar. Mix eggs and vanilla. Mixing buttermilk with flour blend to  creamy mix . Pour into prepared pan and bake for about an hour. Removed from the oven…let it cool.
Buttercream frosting
* Ingredients :
° 1 cup soft butter
° 1/2 cup milk or cream
° 2 teaspoons vanilla
° 5 cups powdered sugar

* Methods : 
Cream butter & vanilla to smooth. Adding sugar with milk a little at time; Blend well to need consistency.
How to change: Employ 1/2 c butter & 1/2 c shortening instead 1 c butter.
